We are proud to promote Debbie Brown and Beth Scott to New Homes Sales Specialists, who have built up a strong knowledge of the sector throughout their very successful careers in our Gosforth residential office. Beth has worked for Sanderson Young for almost 25 years and brings with her a wealth of experience along with a high degree of compassion and understanding; key elements required when dealing with more complex, off plan sales.
Debbie started her property career in 2011 and very much enjoys the fast pace of the industry. Always keen to meet personally with clients, Debbie always goes above and beyond to secure a sale and provide a high standard of personal service.
Amy Brice heads up the New Homes division, working with a comprehensive approach to sales and marketing, from initial feasibility studies and development appraisal through to the effective sales and marketing of a residential development project. A graduate of the University of Leeds, Amy joined Sanderson Young on a full time basis in 2009, having worked previously for the company in a variety of roles. Amy qualified as a Chartered Residential Surveyor in 2016 and has built up an enviable reputation amongst her regional and national housebuilder clients for her professionalism, attention to detail and enthusiasm on how best to maximise profit and saleability on any style of development scheme.
This expert team is centred in the unique New Homes Hub in Gosforth. The first of its kind in the region, this multifunctional space allows us to present the North East’s most prestigious developments in their best light, whilst adding value to our corporate clients in assisting them throughout the life cycle of their residential schemes.
As the division continues to grow in strength, we are delighted to launch a second New Homes Hub which has seen expansion of our Northumberland branch in the beautiful market town of Alnwick. This office has been delivered to support our developer clients operating throughout the region, from the famous Northumbrian coastal villages to the stunning villages surrounding the Northumberland National Park.
The new homes market in Northumberland continues to evolve as we see new land emerge from updated local plans and we hope that a positive and proactive planning policy under the new government pushes forward an agenda for much needed new build housing.
The marketing of new homes schemes is imperative in attracting initial ‘early-adopters’ of a development, particularly through off-plan reservations. Our media team play a substantial role in the evolution and branding of a new development and are often involved alongside our development consultants at the earliest stage of planning in order to build a successful development brand. We have proven results of how the correct marketing, advertising and design can strengthen the market and improve sales figures throughout a scheme, and we are always keen to work with developers from pre-planning stages in order to maximise revenue opportunities as they evolve.
Lee Redshaw aids our new homes team as our in-house creative designer, responsible for creating innovative marketing campaigns throughout the lifespan of a development and is happy to provide devised in-house campaigns or slot into a developer’s existing multi-disciplinary teams.
Rory Nicholson has assisted in the transition of Sanderson Young’s focus towards digital and social media, using the best tools available to talk to our clients socially and market online the region’s best developments. Our social media reach and engagement is a key tool in how we promote property, and Rory has the understanding and youthful, eager mind to grow engaging campaigns and send property ‘viral’!
Louise Murray completes the specialist team, as a marketing graduate with over 8 years of experience in the property sector. Louise manages the overall administration of the company and, as such, provides our developer clients with invaluable experience, assistance and counsel over the many statutory obligations involved in the delivery of a residential development. As well as this organisational approach, Louise very much enjoys assisting with copywriting for press releases and coordinating the online promotion of our new homes sites.
